About Chase
My name is Chase Cavitt. I'm a certified personal trainer with over four years of hands-on experience, a Bachelor's degree in Health Science, and I'm currently pursuing my doctorate in physical therapy. But more than any credential, what drives me is a simple belief: everyone deserves to feel good in their body regardless of their age, fitness level, or budget.
I got into this work because I kept seeing the same thing over and over. People who genuinely wanted to take better care of themselves, but had no idea where to begin. People living with chronic pain, low energy, and growing health risks not because they didn't care, but because quality guidance was either too expensive, too intimidating, or just not built for their life.
The truth is, your health isn't just about you. It's about being present for the people who count on you. Being able to keep up with your kids. Making it to the milestones that matter. Reducing the risk of conditions that steal years from your life before they ever need to. That's what a consistent, well-designed fitness program actually gives you and that's what I build.
I don't do one-size-fits-all. I don't push extreme programs or unsustainable transformations. I write custom programs rooted in functional movement and preventive health whether you're a complete beginner, someone coming back from injury, or a busy adult who just needs something that actually fits their schedule.
The Form & Foundation mission
"Fitness isn't about how you look. It's about how long you're here, and how fully you show up for the people who love you."
Chase Cavitt, CPT
Why movement matters more as you age
Strength and functional training aren't just for athletes or people trying to look good. They're some of the most powerful tools science has for slowing the aging process and protecting your quality of life for decades to come.
Resistance training increases bone mineral density, directly reducing the risk of osteoporosis and fractures. After 30, you lose bone mass every year you don't train against it.
Adults lose 3-8% of muscle per decade after 30 without training. Strength work counters sarcopenia, keeping you capable, strong, and independent well into your later years.
Falls are the leading cause of injury in adults over 65. Functional training improves coordination, proprioception, and stability, making falls significantly less likely.
Regular training lowers blood pressure, improves cholesterol levels, reduces insulin resistance, and significantly cuts the risk of heart disease and type 2 diabetes.
Exercise increases blood flow to the brain and stimulates the release of BDNF, a protein that supports neuron growth. It's one of the most effective tools for reducing cognitive decline and dementia risk.
People who train regularly fall asleep faster, sleep more deeply, and wake up less often. Quality sleep is when your body repairs itself — training makes it happen more effectively.
Muscle is metabolically active tissue. More muscle means your body burns more calories at rest, making it easier to maintain a healthy weight and harder for fat to accumulate as you age.
Functional training strengthens the muscles that support and protect your joints. This reduces chronic pain, improves mobility, and helps manage or prevent conditions like arthritis.
Exercise releases endorphins, reduces cortisol, and has been shown to be as effective as medication for mild to moderate depression and anxiety. Movement is mental health care.
Regular physical activity is associated with a significantly lower risk of several cancers including colon, breast, endometrial, and lung cancer, according to major cancer research bodies.
The ability to get off the floor, carry groceries, climb stairs, and move without assistance as you age comes down to maintaining strength and mobility. Training now is an investment in your future independence.
Studies show that people who are physically active live longer on average and spend more of those years in good health. The goal isn't just a longer life. It's a fuller one.
None of this requires extreme effort. It requires consistency and the right program.
See the programsWhy it matters
Most people think about fitness in terms of weight or appearance. The real benefits run much deeper than that.
Regular physical activity reduces the risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes, certain cancers, depression, and cognitive decline. It's not a luxury it's the single most evidence-backed intervention for a longer, healthier life.
Should you lift heavy? Do cardio? Stretch more? The internet gives a different answer every day. Without a program built specifically for your body and goals, even motivated people spin their wheels. That's where I come in.
Chronic pain, low energy, and poor mobility keep people from playing with their kids, traveling, staying independent as they age. Addressing movement quality early is how you protect the life you actually want to live.
A personal trainer can run $60–$150 per session. That's not preventive care. That's a financial barrier.. I built my programs to be genuinely accessible, because your health shouldn't depend on your income.
Whether you've never stepped in a gym, are coming back from an injury, or just need something that fits around a busy schedule your program should start where you are, not where someone else is.
In-person sessions are expensive and hard to schedule. A well-designed custom program gives you the same expert guidance you can follow on your own time, at your own pace, wherever you are.
Who I work with
I work with real people at all stages of life, not just athletes. If any of these sound like you, you're in the right place.
Never worked out consistently? That's okay. I'll build you a starting point that actually makes sense and won't overwhelm you.
Old injuries, chronic pain, or limited mobility. Your program needs to respect where your body is, not ignore it. My PT background means I build with your limitations in mind.
Working full-time, raising a family, juggling life. I design programs that are efficient, realistic, and built to fit into your actual schedule.
If you're motivated by being present for your family, reducing your health risks, and aging well: that's exactly who I built this for.
